What to Expect From Your Inspection

Whether you are buying, selling or maintaining your home, Resi Inspections provides professional and quality service from the moment you call us. Once you have entered into a contract or have a property you would like inspected, either enter your information online, send us an email info@resii.com.au, or call us at 07 3130 0415 to arrange your inspection.

We will arrange a suitable time with the Real Estate Agent, and yourself if you wish to attend. Should you have any particular questions and concerns about the property please let us know, so we can give special attention to these areas during the inspection.

Once the date has been confirmed, you will receive an email with a link to your private portal. Here you will find your pre-inspection agreement, which can be signed on any device (we prefer paperless – we need the trees!), and an easy, secure online payment.

On the day, a process is followed to ensure a thorough inspection. During this time, the inspector will be concentrating, feel free to raise any concerns, but to ensure the best possible inspection, please keep interruptions to a minimum. It is a good opportunity to have another look through your new home! The average home will take approximately 1-1.5 hours.

At the end of the inspection, if you are able to attend, we will walk through the home together. At which point, your inspector will personally explain the general condition of the home and any significant findings with you.

All of this will be detailed in your easy-to-read Spectora report, that will be delivered in HTML and/or PDF format. From that report, you’ll be able to see any items discussed, with images for reference.

Once you have received and read the report, feel free to discuss any questions you have with our team.

We would love the opportunity to discuss our services in more detail and answer any questions you may have.

Reports are written with specific Building and Technical language, which can sometimes be difficult to understand. Once you receive your report, remember you’re not alone. We are here to try to help you understand not only the terminology, but what it really means for you as far as any work or investment required to rectify any potential issues.
